Rachel, Rachel... LOOK OVER HERE!!!

Rachel, Rachel... LOOK OVER HERE!!!

Technically, I've made it on WireImage. From last nights premiere of "Loverboy" at the GenArts Film Festival, I would be the one behind Rachel in the red dress. Job well done, Kikster!

How was the movie?

Well... at least my right hip is... and part of my BEAUTIFUL Balenciaga!

The movie was pretty good in my opinion, although a little slow at times. It was definitely dark and intense and I thought Bacon used a lot of interesting angles for shots often. Kyra was effective in the role. The most laughs went to Bacon who portrayed her father in 1970's flashbacks (Marisa Tomei plays her mother). Their daughter, Sosie Bacon (whom portrayed a younger Kyra), also did a nice job and stole the show as far as I'm concerned with her rather impressive rendition of Bowie's "Life on Mars". All in all, I thought it was a well done film. I waivered throughout on whether it was a film focused on an altruistic individual or the complete opposite (which in fact I'm sure it is). It was sort of a beautiful story really, as much as one can be that makes you want to sit in a dark room for the rest of the night or go home and shower immediately.
